Beautiful Lakes of Pakistan - part 1

Aansoo Lake

A high-altitude lake
Elevation: 16,492 feet or 5,027 metres
Location: Kaghan Valley in the Mansehra District of the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. It is near Malika Parbat in the Himalayan range.


Baghsar Lake


Altitude: 975m
Location:  Samahni Valley, Mirpur District

The lake is roughly half a kilometre long and overlooks the Bandala Valley.

Jalkhad Lake

Location: Naran Valley, Pakistan 

Borith Lake

Borith is a hamlet in the surroundings of the Borith Lake to the northwest of Hussaini, a village near Gulmit, Gojal, in the upper Hunza.
Location: Hunza Valley, Northern Areas of Pakistan 
Altitude: roughly 2,600 m (8,500 feet) above sea level.

The Chitta Katha Lake


Location: Shonter Valley, Nellum district, Azad Kashmir, Pakistan.
Altitude: 3,800 meters (12,467 ft).


Dhamaka Lake


Location: Utror Valley, Swat, Pakistan


Dudipatsar lake

Location: Extreme North of Kaghan Valley, Pakistan



Gattian lake


Location: Behind the mountain of ratti gali lake, Azad kashmir, Pakistan

Hanna Lake

Location: Quetta, Baluchistan, Pakistan

Kacheli Lake

This lake was precisely for fairies who would descent from Rakaposhi for their sacred bath. No longer happens as humans have polluted it.Rakaposhi is the crown jewel of the beauty of Nagar and Hunza valley
Location: Nagar Valley, Pakistan
